12 Days of Holiday Cheer: Elf on the Store Shelf & Christmas in the Village

Friday & Saturday, November 18th and 19th is Waterford's Annual Christmas in the Village - This will be the time to kick off our "Elf on the Store Shelf" event! Every day, starting 11/18  our elf "Sir Water Ford" will be in a different business in Waterford.  This event will end on December 18th. **Look for the clue posted on Explore Waterford's Facebook Page and Instagram - the first 5 people to find him each day get entered to  win a prize drawing on December 18th!!

12 Days of Christmas: Giving Thanks

Each participating business will have a "Board" or a "Wall" where you can post what you are thankful for.  Everyone that posts will  be entered to win a prize.  Drawing will be on November 23rd. Participating businesses are: Chi Trees & Oils, Kojis Produce, North Waters Esthetics, Kravings, Waterford Stillhouse, Reads by the River Noble House General Store and DJ Custom Floral Shop

Community Decorating Day

Help to decorate our community for the Holidays!  Friday, November 25th between 10am - 5pm Choose the area that you would like to decorate ! 12 Days of Holiday Cheer : Giving Tuesday

Starting Nov 25 , participating businesses will have a barrel outside their business and gather items for a charity of their choice. The Business that has the fullest barrel by Giving Tuesday evening will win a donation to the charity of their choice in their name! Random Acts of Kindness Cards will be available at local businesses to inspire  our community , especially in this holiday season

Mark your calendars for this INCREDIBLE HOLIDAY SHOPPING DAY! NOV 26 is SMALL BUSINESS SATURDAY and we are going to be kicking off the Holiday Season right! The Winter Wonderland Christmas Parade, Tree Lighting & Santa Visits

Parade, Choir & Tree Lighting,  Visits with Santa, Fireworks! - in that order! Hundreds of Waterford and surrounding area residents celebrate Christmas in the streets every year on the first Saturday of December. The parade begins promptly at 5:30 when the VFW steps out to lead the march through downtown as children and families excitedly wait for the colorful, sparkling lights and, of course, candy! Due to lack of participation and interest, this event has been cancelled.   Join us at The Corner Lot Park for  the Snowman Competition!  A MAx of 10 Teams will be given clues and instructions to go find all the components of the snowman hidden around downtown. The first team to gather ALL snowman parts, get them back to the Corner Park and  assemble him- WINS!
