ABOUT
We serve families and their children ages 6 weeks to 12 years Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. with Preschool, full day care, and before and after school services.
At Today’s Child Learning Academy, LLC, we understand there is no more important time to start building the skills needed for a productive future than your child’s earliest years. We call it: “Today’s Child, Tomorrow’s Future.” Our focus is to help your child develop the social and educational foundation for a successful, fulfilled life. And it all takes place in a nurturing, fun atmosphere.
Beginning with the 2015-2016 school year, we will be partnering with the Waterford Graded School District (WGSD) to provide 4K wrap around care from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Our 3/4 Year Old Preschool and 4/5 Year Old Pre-Kindergarten Programs run Monday – Friday 9 – 11:30 a.m. and features a “Learning Through Play Curriculum” with an emphasis on developmentally appropriate activities. We do offer extended care before and after preschool from 6 am-6 pm.
Field trips and parent days provide additional experiences and recognition for students. We have a well equiped and spacious playground used daily as part of our program (weather permitting).
Our Waterford Area School Age Program is located off-site, yet conveniently located, at the Evergreen Elementary School cafeteria at 817 W. Main Street in Waterford. This eliminates any traveling your child would ordinarily have for before or after school care.
The WASP program is available before and after school from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. During this time, your child is able to enjoy a variety of different activities ranging from games, playing on the playground or gymnasium (weather permitting), arts and other learning actives. An after school snack is also provided.
A summer program is offered at both our Main Center located on Water Street and our WASP Program at our local Elementary Schools.
Our Main Center provides a summer program that allows the children to enjoy the summer months with water activities, trips to the library and other community events, field trips, learning activities, games, music, and exploration with our usual curriculum.
